Whether you know it our not, Magda Gerber has touched your life.  

Every infant, toddler and child enrolled in our program receives the guidance and respect modeled by this pioneer.  Any parent or educator who has participated in or even toured our school community, can see the ripples of her life’s work in action.  She guides our core values and is the underlying thread providing program integrity.  It is to Magda that we continue to draw our inspiration for our life’s work.

During RIE’s annual appeal, our infant community gathered in an effort to articulate what Magda and RIE mean to us.  We ask each of you to advocate for RIE during this holiday season:  a tax deductible donation to rie.org, by sharing this appeal with family and friends, by writing a letter of support to RIE, “friending” RIE on facebook, or simply by sharing what you know with a neighbor.

Magda Gerber’s words of wisdom cleared the fog and allowed us to see infants with new eyes.  Her Educaring Approach influences national curriculum and policies and is sparking deeper research into this plane of development.  One woman making a big impact:  one parent - one teacher at a time.
