Little Learners Lodge

Infant

3-18 months

Children under two years are supported with primary and continuity of care. Educarers are trained in Pikler® and remain with their small group during transitions.

The greatest amount of physical, cognitive, and emotional development occurs during those first critical first two years of life. Our early childhood practitioners are trained and experienced to support infants and their parents in ensuring your child's wellbeing while they are apart from family. The infant community is intentionally small and comprises two primary groups (no more than four babies each) primarily cared for by a qualified Infant Guide. During those first two years, babies learn to rely on their teacher who supports their individual unfolding of development while in group care. Additionally, primary groups of children remain together during their experience developing deep peer connections as well as trust and security with each other and their teacher.
